Artist Biography

Joanne Funkhouser is a recent graduate from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts with a BFA in painting. She is currently based in Philadelphia, PA.

In her work, Joanne explores the possibility of color creating emotion and nostalgia. As a reflection of her experiences, she creates representational works of art with expressive qualities.
